Homies

They buried another one of the homeboyz. He was only nineteen years old.
Leaving behind the girl he loved and the baby he'll NEVER hold.
He won't be able to pick his little girl up, Each time she falls down.
He won't be there to see her smile, Or even to she her frown.
And when she gets married he won't be there,
When she needs him on that most special day. HE WON"T BE THERE!

They buried another homeboy today , This time he was only sixteen.
He won't be able to finish high school, or even buy a new car.
And god he'll never dream again. The price he paid was it worth it?
His life has been cut short by a bullet, His family will weep as they say
GOOD-BYE! Did their LITTLE BOY really have to DIE ?????

They buried another homie today, This time it was a girl,
There was no reason for her to DIE. This doesn't even seem real!
We keep on KILLING eachother. It's so sad to see so many DIE,
ALL it's doing is making our loved ones CRY !!!
We've got to STOP the hate, We've got to STOP this
NIGHTMARE, OR IS IT ALREADY TOO LATE ????????
